I breed, raise and train my own dogs and train other's dogs for ranch work and trialing. I also instruct dog owners on how to train their dogs in private lessons and clinics. The bulk of my experience is with Border Collies, but I have also worked with most other herding breeds.
I have always loved dogs and had an interest in training them. In the beginning, I trained and competed in obedience with my own dogs. I taught obedience first in Spokane, WA and later in the Seattle area.
I got my first Border Collie in 1983, and since then I've devoted most of my time to training and trialing them. I compete with my dogs all over the US and Canada, and have qualified my dogs for the USBCHA National Finals every year since 1993.
