Training Clinics

Training clinics are a great way for a number of people to get help in training their dog for sheepherding and also get a chance to meet other dog people. I like to keep the number of participants down to ten or twelve people so there is more time to spend with each person and their dog.

Usually we work each dog with the owner, then come back and discuss what we were doing with the group, and take time to answer any questions about that particular dog. I have a speaker system so that the class participants can hear all that happens out in the field with each person. It is sometimes helpful for people to be able to observe other participants and their dogs and they will be able to learn better from watching than when they are out working their own dog.

I think that clinics are a great starting point for any person wanting to get involved with training a working dog. Contact me for prices for a clinic in your area.
